This blog exists to share resources, ideas, and experiences amongst those interested in learning Information Technology in the Cayman Islands. It is meant for teachers, parents, students, and anyone else.
How can you take part?
1. Place a comment on what you read on the blog.
Just click where it says 'Comments' and type away. It is nice if you include your name, but you don't have to.
2. Ask a question on anything you like.
Post it on our Forum so others may answer it.
3. Add an Internet link to CIEBIT's shared links.
You decide which category to put the link under. If the category is missing, send an email to ciebit@simpler-solutions.net and it will be added.
4. Comment on a link at CIEBIT's shared links.
5. Become an email contributor.
Send us what you want to have posted on the blog with any files and photos. Send emails to ciebit@simpler-solutions.net.
Share your experiences, ideas, reflections, questions, problems, solutions, poems, tests, help, tutorials, software reviews, hardware reviews, text book reviews, website reviews, stories, tasks, anxieties, successes, or anything else.
6. Become a full contributor.
We will give you a username and password and you are free to add messages when you feel like it.

Click here to find out how.
8. Deposit a document, spreadsheet, pdf file, etc.
Upload it to the server of your choice and put a link to it in CIEBIT in a message or in a comment.
If you do not have a server of your choice upload them to the file folder in ciebit.tripod.com by signing in at http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/build/webftp/.
Username: ciebit. Password: lovelace
After you have signed in, click 'Open WebFTP'. Open the files folder by double-clicking on it. Upload your files.
If the file is called 'testing.doc', use this link in CIEBIT:
http://members.lycos.co.uk/ciebit/files/testing.doc
If you feel it is too difficult to upload to tripod, just email or dropload me the file and I will upload it.
Adobe Reader pdf files can be read by any computer, but can not be easily edited. MS Word documents can be easily edited, but only if you have MS Word installed
